We welcome new patients of all ages and would be pleased to have our office become your family’s dental home.
Every new patient must have a full dental exam and complete of x-rays before any work can be done – even something as simple as a cleaning. If you have had x-rays taken within the past year, we may be able to use those instead of taking a new series. Just bring them with you to your first appointment.
To schedule your first appointment, call us at 512-453-6337 or email us now.
Late Cancellation/Missed Appointment Policy
If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, we require 48 hours’ notice. If you give less than that or fail to make your appointment, you will be charged a cancellation fee of $50.
Please come early to your first appointment so you will have ample time to fill out the necessary forms before you’re seated in one of our operatories.
Here are a few of the most frequently answered questions we get from new patients:
Do you see children?
Yes, we have patients of all ages. In cases where a pediatric specialist is needed, Dr. Sefcik can refer your child to a nearby pedodontist who uses biocompatible materials at our request.
Do you have to take x-rays?
Many conventional dental offices still take x-rays routinely. In our office, they are never routine. We take them only when needed to properly examine a new patient or when there’s a potential problem such as decay. X-rays help ensure proper diagnosis and treatment.
To limit radiation exposure when we do need to take x-rays, we use only digital imaging. This reduces exposure by as much as 90% compared to film x-rays, while also offering sharper, clearer images that are easier to work with. We also provide a radiation homeopathic afterwards to support detox from the exposure.
Is your office fragrance-free?
We use high quality essential oils throughout our office. If you have chemical sensitivities and are not sure if you will be able to tolerate the oils, we invite you to drop by first to see how you do in the environment before scheduling an appointment.
